The park's four refuges at the end of the valley are a destination for hikers and mountain lovers. You can hike, ride, donkey-ride, reindeer-ride, dog-ride... This is a national park of infinite possibilities!

HIKING
The Peisey valley offers a wide variety of walks on well-maintained trails. Discover the mountain lakes, mountain pastures, glaciers, trails... You'll be spoilt for choice!
Walks from Les Chalets Fermes du Villaret start 50m outside the village.
For children, there's a treasure hunt at the Nordic centre to discover the mountains in a fun way.
You can hike in the Parc de la Vanoise at the bottom of the valley. You'll discover an abundance of flora and fauna.
REFUGES
Four family-friendly refuges set between high-altitude lakes and torrents welcome you for a drink, a meal or even a night's sleep in an unforgettable setting:
- At the entrance to the Vanoise Park, the 1556m Rosuel refuge opens its doors to you.
- The Refuge d'Entre Le Lac (2145 m) is located on the edge of the Plagne lake.
- The Col du Palet refuge (2,587m) can be reached on the Tignes footpath just after the Entre le lac refuge.
- As for the Mont Pourri refuge (2514 m), you'll find it at the foot of Mont Pourri (3779 m), the second highest peak in Savoie.
MOUNTAIN RIDING
Le Fer À Cheval« has a dozen horses and five ponies to help you discover mountain riding. The centre offers weekly courses.

MOUNTAIN BIKE
The Peisey-Vallandry / les Arcs Bike Park is a benchmark in the world of mountain biking.
The sites are open from late June to mid-September. Find out more at the tourist office
Our chalets are just 200m from the free televillage that gives access to the Bike Park, with vertical drops of over 2000m. Mountain bike trails leave from the village without taking the lifts.
ELECTRIC BIKES on the TRAILS or BIKE PARK
You can hire mountain bikes and electric bikes at the Intersport shop in Vallandry or at the E-Bike centre at Les Lanchettes campsite in Peisey-Nancroix.

SKI WHEELING, ROLLER or SKATING
Come and train on the 1km tarmac track! A leisure loop for inline skating or cross-country ski training is also available. Or try your hand at biathlon or race skating, just 4 km from our chalets. There is a large car park with 100 spaces and showers on site.
CLIMBING
The climbing boulders at Ceris sous Nancroix are an ideal place to introduce your children to climbing or to improve your skills.
VIA FERRATA DES BETTIERES in the magnificent setting of Les Lanches beneath the glaciers. Free activity.
Rope-roping equipment can be hired from sports shops.

MOUNTAIN TOURS

ROAD BIKE
The Tour de France passes through the valley on its way from Cormet de Roselend to the Haute Tarentaise passes. The house offers secure storage for your precious bikes. The Tarentaise has an excellent reputation in the world of cycling. The Tour de France is won in the Alps!
SWIMMING
There are numerous lakes, waterfalls and rivers in the Peisey-Nancroix valley. Just 12km away, you'll find the Base de Loisirs des Versants d'Aime, with its white sandy beach.
RAFTING AND KAYAKING
The rivers of the Tarentaise are popular with rafting, kayaking and white-water swimming enthusiasts. 20 km of courses on the upper Isère with guaranteed water levels from 1 May to 30 September.
Bourg Saint Maurice has a world-renowned slalom pool. An international white-water centre that is particularly well-equipped with a team of top-level instructors.
Discover the paddling school and discovery courses down the Petite Isère.
You can also organise a rafting trip, Hydrospeed (white-water swimming) or inflatable kayak.

OTHER SUMMER ACTIVITIES
A valley in a glacial cirque with a few waterfalls and a small lake. For your convenience: picnic tables, barbecue, football pitches, via ferratta at the foot of the glaciers. Two cosy mountain restaurants welcome you to Les Lanches.
And at the very end, accessible by car, you'll find the Rosuel refuge in a breathtaking setting.
A real showcase of mountain heritage, you can visit the valley's various authentic hamlets.

CULTURE
Baroque paths and cultural life in the Tarentaise : Guided tours «Baroque Ways».
VISIT the lead and silver mine site: Pont Baudin, a museum trail in the forest, where you can discover the Peisey mines, which earned the town its nickname of «Monts d'Argent» during the French Revolution. It was the first mining school under the 1st Empire before being transferred to Paris.
