CRECHE

Near the Tannerie, Laiterie and Fruitiere chalets, you will find a childminder: Le Chat Botté. This establishment welcomes children aged 1 to 11 during the winter season, from 9am to 5pm. SKI TOURING

With the guide office. Starting from La Chenarie, climb to the Grand Col with a 1500m ascent. Or 2300m if you climb Mont Pourri. NORDIC SKIING

In the heart of a magnificent setting, at the entrance to the Vanoise National Park, you will find Peisey-Nancroix, a true haven of peace. From the village of Lanches, you can enjoy 43 km of ski slopes, comprising 4 loops ranging from 6 to 14 km. You will be amazed by the diversity of the landscapes, between the spruce forests, the larch woods, the open alpine pastures and the charming small mountain chalets buried under the snow.

Far from the noise and the crowds, you can enjoy the tranquillity and serenity of this exceptional location. A free shuttle bus is available every 30 minutes to take you there, making access easy and convenient. You will also find ski rental services and ski lessons on site to perfect your technique. In addition, a boot room is provided, and access for handiski is facilitated for people with reduced mobility.

You can also admire a superb biathlon stadium, perfectly suited for competitions. From the Villaret farm chalets, you can take advantage of the free shuttle to reach this magnificent site.

ROLLER RING

The site has a 2 km long tarmac track which offers numerous possibilities for activities. You can take part in speed skating, Nordic ski biathlon, as well as various mountain biking disciplines such as Cross Country, Downhill, Trial, Rally, and Four Cross.

Cycling trial enthusiasts will also be delighted. For your comfort, the site offers 100 parking spaces and public toilets are available. Access is facilitated for people with reduced mobility, whether they have a motor or sensory disability. You will thus be able to fully enjoy these activities in an environment that is adapted and accessible to all.

WALKS AND SNOWSHOEING

The walks start at the bottom of our chalets. You can walk with or without snowshoes on forest paths. Hiking in Peisey-Nancroix Discover a balcony path leading to Notre-Dame des Vernettes. 20 km of paths are maintained to enable you to observe the animals in winter: ibex, chamois, roe deer, stags, ermines and bearded vultures. Privileged access to the Vanoise Park and the chance to meet the park wardens. You can use the ski lifts (pedestrian pass) to go up to 2000 m for a groomed loop facing Mont Blanc.

HORSE RIDING

Discover the magic of horse-drawn sleigh rides in the charming village of Les Lanches, nestling at the foot of two glaciers. Experience the thrill of Lapland with our sleigh rides. From 10 am to 11.30 am, let yourself be transported through the forest and old village on our morning ride. Alternatively, opt for an afternoon sleigh ride, complete with a snack break in an old cottage and wildlife spotting with a telescope.

These walks are offered in the village of Les Lanches, in a magnificent spot called «Le Petit Himalaya», which offers a sumptuous setting. Located at the bottom of the Peisey-Nancroix valley, you can easily access it by free shuttle from the Villaret farmhouse chalets. It is about 10 km from Chalet Sterwen, with a free shuttle also available from the village centre.
